MOT PriceThe current test fee for a car mot is £54.85, here at Shipps we charge £45.00. We have charged this amount for the last 4 years and have no plans to increase this fee. Further to this we do not make any charge for a re-test as long as the car is returned to the testing station within 10 working days.
The Service BayThe Service Bay is the repair and service side of the garage and is unrelated to Shipps Garage. The Service Bay is run by Stuart and he can be contacted on 01684 591020. If your car requires a service or repair or if you car should fail the MOT then Stuart will be on hand to give you a free quote for the work needed.
Mot and Service InfoMot and Servicing to all makes. Opening Hours Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.30 Saturday, we open from 8.30 up until whatever time the mot's are done. Don't pay main dealer prices when we can do the same job for a lot less money. For your convenience, Mot parking is to the rear of the garage and the office is at the back as well.
Why Use Shipps GarageBecause we use a pit for our Mot's, we are able to Mot vehicles where others can't, for instance a car that has been lowered, narrow classic cars like an Austin 7 or even the larger Motorhomes. Sometimes these type of vehicles will not fit on a normal ramp but, at Shipps we do not have this problem.
